  Blue Dark Outfitters is genuinely one of the most amazing places I have ever been. My sister and I went hunting after years of not being able to and both got our first bucks. Charles welcomed my sister, her husbamd, and myself, in with open arms and instantly made us feel like part of the family and gave us our own little cabin room. It felt like home away from home. The stories, the people, the good food, the early morning hunts, it was all phenomenal and it was also a very healing trip for me. I needed this hunting trip and I am so grateful for Charles and his family. This is his passion and you can tell. He pours his heart and soul into this business and he worked hard to make sure my sister and I and all the hunters got put on deer. We felt safe, welcomed, and excited to partake in a Blue Dark Outfitters hunt! As a woman, it is important to feel safe, comfortable, and heard. You will get that here. Everyone, (men, women, and kids) need to check them out and book a hunt! There's so many options and it is so peaceful where they are located. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful skies. It was truly a fantastic experience and we are already booking next year's hunt! You will not regret it!

  From start to finish, my three-day hunt with BlueDark Outfitters was absolutely exceptional. Charles went above and beyond—he scouted, strategized, and worked tirelessly to place us in outstanding spots where I was ultimately able to harvest my very first deer. His guidance didn’t stop once the shot was made—he helped coordinate getting the deer to the processor they recommend, ensuring the whole process was smooth and stress-free. Christina was equally amazing, taking care of every detail of accommodations and meals. The lodging was comfortable, warm, and welcoming after each day in the field, and the food was top-notch—both hearty and thoughtfully prepared. Whether we were gathered for a hot southern supper or a light lunch between hunts, her efforts made all the difference. The setting was peaceful and set up for success. Charles’s hunt-site choices offered plenty of action, and his expert work ethic gave me confidence every morning heading into the stand. Christina’s hospitality made returning to the lodge a delight. If you’re looking for a guided hunt where the guides are truly committed to your success—and where comfort and hospitality matter as much as the hunt itself—I wholeheartedly recommend BlueDark Outfitters.   I recently booked my 4th hunt with BlueDark Outfitters. I have been hunting for over 50 years and have hunted with numerous outfitters all over the country. Since relocating to North Carolina 10 years ago, I feel that I have found the ultimate hunting outfitter. I have never had such enjoyable hunts like I had with BlueDark. Charles goes out of his way to make everyone feel at home. I have never seen a guide like him before. He is always thinking, planning, and strategizing as to how to make the hunt successful. Not only successful in harvesting a nice buck but making your hunt memorable from the accommodations to the deer stands, and to the good food. Both Charles and Christianna are wonderful hosts that will do anything they can to help you have a great experience and appreciate the challenge of trying to get a trophy deer. I look forward to many more hunts with such great people.

  I was in town for a wedding and found Bluedarkoutfitters online and figured I take my son hunting. Charles was extremely easy to communicate with, very accommodating and very responsive to all of needs. Hunting with a 7yo is always a challenge and he recognized those challenges and tailored our hunt accordingly. Eli was able to harvest his first doe at Bluedarkoutfitters and is now hooked on deer hunting. Getting the meet processed was easy and we had it shipped home. Great experience we will be back.
